The Recombinant WHSC1 Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C331506) against WHSC1. WHSC1, also known as MMSET or NSD2, is a SET domain containing histone lysine methyltransferase that can di- and trimethylate histone H3 at lysine 36 (H3K36). WHSC1 mRNA is highly expressed in embryonic tissues, especially those with high degrees of proliferation, whereas in adult tissues, the mRNA is primarily expressed in thymus and testis. WHSC1 is implicated in cellular adhesion, clonogenic growth and tumorigenicity. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of Jurkat, HUT-78, Raji. The target is localized to the nucleus, cytoplasm.
