Description
DNA standards for library quantification
GenieQuant Library Quantification Kit for Illumina DNA Standard 1–6 provides the six pre-diluted DNA standards used to build the standard curve for qPCR-based absolute quantification of adapter-ligated Illumina sequencing libraries. Quantifying only amplifiable, sequenceable molecules helps optimise loading concentration, cluster density and data yield.
The standards are reference material for fluorescence-based library quantification and are recommended for use with the GenieQuant Library Quantification Kit for Illumina 2.0. They form a 10-fold dilution series from 20 pM down to 0.0002 pM, with batch-to-batch CV below 5% for accurate quantification. For research use only.
Key Features
| Six-point standard curve | Pre-diluted standards span 20 pM to 0.0002 pM in 10-fold steps. | |
| Accurate and consistent | Batch-to-batch CV of the standards is below 5%. | |
| Matched to the kit | Recommended for use with the GenieQuant Library Quantification Kit for Illumina 2.0. |

Q1: What is in the kit?
- Six DNA standards at 20, 2, 0.2, 0.02, 0.002 and 0.0002 pM, 96 μl each, enough for 8 reactions.
Q2: Which qPCR kit should I use the standards with?
- They are recommended for use with the GenieQuant Library Quantification Kit for Illumina 2.0.
Q3: In what order should I pipette the standards?
- Add them from the lowest to the highest concentration (DNA Standard 6 to 1), using a new pipette tip for each transfer to avoid aerosol contamination.
