Description
Human CD195/CCR5 Recombinant Protein (N-GST)
Human CD195/CCR5 Recombinant Protein (N-GST) is a recombinant protein expressed in E. coli, spanning Glu302-Leu352, with an N-terminal GST tag. Predicted molecular weight: 32.79 kDa. Purity: >90% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Supplied lyophilized from a solution in PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% NLS, 1 mM EDTA, 4% Trehalose, 1% Mannitol. Applications: ELISA, immunogen, SDS-PAGE and Western blot. C-C chemokine receptor type 5 (CD195/CCR5) is a ~40 kDa protein. Receptor for a number of inflammatory CC-chemokines including CCL3/MIP-1-alpha, CCL4/MIP-1-beta and RANTES and subsequently transduces a signal by increasing the intracellular calcium ion level. For research use only.
May play a role in the control of granulocytic lineage proliferation or differentiation. Participates in T-lymphocyte migration to the infection site by acting as a chemotactic receptor.
