The Recombinant IKB epsilon Monoclonal Antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody (clone C310364) against IKB epsilon. The protein encoded by this gene binds to components of NF-kappa-B, trapping the complex in the cytoplasm and preventing it from activating genes in the nucleus. Phosphorylation of the encoded protein targets it for destruction by the ubiquitin pathway, which activates NF-kappa-B by making it available to translocate to the nucleus. Produced by recombinant technology in Rabbit hosts and purified by Protein A affinity chromatography, this Rabbit IgG antibody is reactive against Human samples.
This antibody is suitable for WB, IHC, IF, ICC and IP applications. It has been validated by WB analysis of A549. The target is localized to the cytoplasm.
