A sandwich immunoassay on a membrane
Each array is a nitrocellulose membrane pre-spotted in duplicate with validated capture antibodies. Your sample flows over the membrane and target proteins are trapped by their matched capture antibody.
- Bound targets are detected with a biotinylated antibody cocktail.
- Streptavidin-HRP and a chemiluminescent substrate generate light at each spot.
- Spot intensity is proportional to protein abundance and quantified by densitometry.
- Duplicate spots and built-in reference points support reliable comparison between samples.
