The [KO Validated] DNMT1 Antibody (CAB5495) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody is raised in rabbits and is validated for use in various applications, including Western blot and immunohistochemistry.DNMT1 plays a crucial role in epigenetic regulation by adding methyl groups to DNA, which can affect gene expression and cellular differentiation. Dysregulation of DNMT1 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, neurological disorders, and developmental abnormalities.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IF/ICC, IP, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human samples.

This gene encodes an enzyme that transfers methyl groups to cytosine nucleotides of genomic DNA. This protein is the major enzyme responsible for maintaining methylation patterns following DNA replication and shows a preference for hemi-methylated DNA. Methylation of DNA is an important component of mammalian epigenetic gene regulation. Aberrant methylation patterns are found in human tumors and associated with developmental abnormalities. Variation in this gene has been associated with cerebellar ataxia, deafness, and narcolepsy, and neuropathy, hereditary sensory, type IE. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
