The EDG1/HEXIM1 Monoclonal Antibody (CAB3997) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, developed using rabbit monoclonal technology, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity towards the EDG1 protein in human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications. The EDG1 protein, also known as sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor 1 (S1PR1), is involved in signaling pathways that control diverse physiological processes such as immune response modulation, vascular development, and cell trafficking.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

The protein encoded by this gene is structurally similar to G protein-coupled receptors and is highly expressed in endothelial cells. It binds the ligand sphingosine-1-phosphate with high affinity and high specificity, and suggested to be involved in the processes that regulate the differentiation of endothelial cells. Activation of this receptor induces cell-cell adhesion. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
