Human G6PD (Glucose 6 Phosphate Dehydrogenase) CLIA Kit
The Human G6PD (Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase) CLIA Kit is specifically designed for the accurate quantification of G6PD levels in human samples, including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. With its high sensitivity and specificity, this kit provides reliable and reproducible results, making it an ideal tool for various research applications.G6PD is a key enzyme involved in the pentose phosphate pathway, playing a crucial role in maintaining cellular redox balance and protecting cells from oxidative damage. Deficiencies in G6PD are linked to conditions such as hemolytic anemia and favism, making it an important biomarker for studying these disorders and developing potential treatments. With the Human G6PD CLIA Kit, researchers can accurately measure G6PD levels in human samples, gaining valuable insights into the pathophysiology of related diseases and exploring new therapeutic strategies.

This kit uses a sandwich chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA) principle. The microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific to the target protein. Standards or samples are added to the wells and bind to the immobilized antibody. A biotinylated detection antibody is then added, followed by HRP-conjugated streptavidin to form a sandwich complex. After washing to remove unbound components, a chemiluminescent substrate is added. The HRP enzyme catalyzes a light-emitting reaction. The intensity of the emitted light is directly proportional to the concentration of the target protein in the sample. The signal is measured using a luminometer, and the concentration of the analyte is calculated based on a standard curve.
