The Mouse GDF15 (Growth Differentiation Factor 15) ELISA Kit is a reliable and accurate tool for measuring GDF15 levels in mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. With high sensitivity and specificity, this ELISA kit ensures precise and reproducible results, making it suitable for a variety of research applications.GDF15 is a protein that plays a crucial role in regulating cell growth, differentiation, and survival. It is involved in various physiological processes, including inflammation, oxidative stress, and metabolism. Dysregulation of GDF15 has been linked to several diseases, such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and metabolic disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and potentially developing therapeutic interventions.Overall, the Mouse GDF15 ELISA Kit offers researchers a reliable and efficient way to quantify GDF15 levels in biological samples, providing valuable insights into the role of GDF15 in health and disease.
This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to the target protein. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and bind to the immobilized antibody. A biotinylated detection antibody specific to the target protein is then added, followed by Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well, resulting in a color change. Only wells containing the target protein, detection antibody, and HRP conjugate will develop a blue color. The reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution, resulting in a yellow color. The optical density (OD) is measured at 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is directly proportional to the concentration of the target protein in the sample and is determined using a standard curve.
