The Mouse REN (Renin) ELISA Kit - High Sensitivity is a specialized assay meticulously crafted to quantitatively measure Renin levels in various mouse biological samples with outstanding precision and sensitivity. Renin, an essential enzyme of the renin-angiotensin system, plays a pivotal role in regulating blood pressure and fluid-electrolyte balance by initiating a cascade of biochemical reactions that ultimately lead to the production of angiotensin peptides involved in cardiovascular homeostasis. This high-sensitivity ELISA kit empowers researchers to explore the intricate role of Renin in blood pressure regulation, vascular function, and electrolyte balance in mouse models. Accurate quantification of Renin levels is crucial for unraveling the complex mechanisms underlying hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, and renal disorders, providing valuable insights into the pathophysiology of cardiovascular health and kidney function. Manufactured under rigorous quality control standards, the Mouse REN (Renin) ELISA Kit - High Sensitivity ensures robust and reliable results, making it an indispensable tool for cutting-edge research in hypertension, cardiovascular biology, and vascular health. Whether investigating Renin's involvement in blood pressure regulation or studying cardiovascular disorders, this ELISA kit provides researchers with a precise and sensitive method for exploring the vital role of Renin in cardiovascular physiology and pathology.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to the target protein. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and bind to the immobilized antibody. A biotinylated detection antibody specific to the target protein is then added, followed by Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well, resulting in a color change. Only wells containing the target protein, detection antibody, and HRP conjugate will develop a blue color. The reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution, resulting in a yellow color. The optical density (OD) is measured at 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is directly proportional to the concentration of the target protein in the sample and is determined using a standard curve.
