Human B-Lactalbumin/LALBA Recombinant Protein

Alpha-lactalbumin is a major component of milk. The regulatory subunit of the lactase (LS) heterodimer and beta 1,4-galactosyltransferase (beta4Gal-T1) is made up of alpha-lactalbumin. Lactocytes, or milk-producing cells, utilize the enzyme alpha-lactalbumin to convert galactose moieties to glucose. These proteins enable LS to combine galactose units with glucose as a monomer and convert them into lactose. Alpha-lactalbumin binds calcium and zinc ions strongly, and it has antibacterial properties. HAMLET, a folding variant of alpha-lactalbumin, is considered to initiate cell death in tumour cells and immature cells. LALBA is linked to a number of illnesses, including milk allergy and skin papilloma. LALBA is involved in glycosaminoglycan (GAG) metabolism, as well as galactose metabolism. Human B-Lactalbumin/LALBA Recombinant Protein is a highly pure recombinant protein developed by Assay Genie for use in a range of applications.
