Description
GenieTaq dNTP Mix (10 mM each), PCR Grade
GenieTaq dNTP Mix is a ready-to-use, PCR-grade blend of the four deoxynucleotide triphosphates - dATP, dCTP, dGTP and dTTP - supplied at 10 mM each. Manufactured to greater than 99% purity and validated free of detectable DNase and RNase activity, it delivers consistent, high-fidelity nucleotide incorporation across a wide range of enzymatic reactions.
Because all four nucleotides are pre-mixed at equal concentration, the reagent removes a common source of pipetting error and can simply be diluted to the required working concentration with sterile ultrapure water.

| Step | Procedure |
| 1 | Thaw the dNTP mix on ice and mix gently before use. |
| 2 | For a typical PCR, add the mix to a final concentration of 200 uM of each dNTP (e.g. 1 ul of 10 mM mix per 50 ul reaction). |
| 3 | Dilute with sterile ultrapure water if a lower working stock is preferred. |
| 4 | Combine with your buffer, primers, template and polymerase, then cycle according to your polymerase's recommendations. |
Note: A final concentration of 200 uM each dNTP suits most PCR reactions; optimise up or down for specialised applications such as long-range or high-GC amplification.
What is the final dNTP concentration for a standard PCR?
200 uM of each dNTP is standard. From the 10 mM each stock, add 1 ul per 50 ul reaction.
Is the mix nuclease-free?
Yes. Each lot is tested and shows no detectable DNase or RNase activity, so it is suitable for RNA-based workflows such as RT-PCR.
How should I store it to preserve activity?
Store at -20 C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw. Preparing small single-use aliquots is the best way to maintain performance.
