Which tag do you need?
His-tagged proteins suit most binding assays and are easy to capture on nickel surfaces. Fc-tagged proteins are dimeric and suit receptor-ligand studies and antibody screening. Biotinylated Avi-tagged proteins carry a single site-specific biotin for streptavidin capture in SPR, BLI and ELISA. GST, FLAG, MBP, Myc and SUMO tags are also available.
Bioactive or not?
For cell-based work such as proliferation or differentiation, choose bioactivity-tested proteins. For standards, immunisation or binding studies, activity is often not required. Purity, endotoxin, expression host and activity data are on each datasheet.
