EGTT-Scavenger for GSH/GSSG Assays (BA0246) (BA0246)
The EGTT-Scavenger for GSH/GSSG Assays (SKU: BA0246) is a ready-to-use chemical reagent used for sample treatment in conjunction with the GSH/GSSG (glutathione) Assay Kit. It is required for the preparation of cell lysate samples, where it scavenges reduced glutathione (GSH) so that oxidised glutathione (GSSG) can be measured selectively. The reagent is supplied as a 500 µL solution, sufficient for 100 tests with the companion GSH/GSSG assay kit. As an accessory reagent it is intended to be used alongside the main assay protocol rather than as a stand-alone assay. Please note that a dedicated product datasheet and Safety Data Sheet were not available for this reagent at the time of preparation.
