Conglutin Recombinant Protein

Synonyms:Conglutin, Allergen Ara h 6.
Introduction:Conglutin, also known as Ara h 6.0101 is a part of the 2S albumin protein family. Conglutin alongwith Ara h 2.0201 are considered as some of the most potent elicitors of anaphylaxis.  Both proteins hold multiple disulphide–bridged cysteine residues, resultingin a tightly coiled, heat–stable, protease resistant core structure. Conglutin causes an allergic reaction in human and binds to IgE.
Description:Recombinant Conglutin produced in SF9 is a glycosylated, polypeptide chain having a calculated molecular mass of 16,217 Dalton. Conglutin is expressed with a 10xHis tag at N–terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
