What is a SuperSet DIY Development ELISA kit?
A SuperSet DIY kit is an uncoated ("do-it-yourself") development ELISA supplied with premium matched antibody pairs and standards. Rather than arriving pre-coated, it lets you coat your own plates and optimize the assay to your samples, which is ideal for flexible, cost-effective assay development.
What's the difference between SuperSet DIY, Max DIY and VetLab DIY?
SuperSet DIY suits labs that already have their own ELISA buffers and plates. SuperSet Max DIY is a more complete, plug-and-play format that streamlines the workflow end to end. SuperSet VetLab DIY offers the same platform tailored for veterinary and laboratory animal research. Each has a matching optional accessory pack.
What do the accessory packs include and do I need one?
Accessory packs are optional and supply the consumables and reagents each format needs, for example plates, sealers, coating/blocking/washing buffers, diluents, TMB substrate and stop solution. Choose the pack that matches your format (RGDC00001 for DIY, AEES03043 for Max DIY, KESAP001 for VetLab DIY) if you don't already have these in-house.
What sample types are supported?
SuperSet DIY development ELISA kits are suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant and other sample types. Specific validated matrices are listed on each product's datasheet.
Why choose DIY over a pre-coated ELISA kit?
DIY development kits are a cost-effective alternative to pre-coated ELISAs, particularly for larger studies and assay optimization. They offer multipack sizes and the flexibility to control coating conditions and assay parameters yourself.
Are SuperSet DIY kits research use only?
Yes. All SuperSet DIY Development ELISA kits are intended strictly for research use only (RUO) and are not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
How do I place an order?
Customers may place an order in 3 ways. Orders can be made online via pro-forma invoice, on our website, or via email by emailing orders@assaygenie.com. If you wish to send a purchase order, you can find our company under “Assay Genie” or “Reagent Genie Ireland Ltd” on your ordering system. Alternatively, orders may be placed via your local distributor.
Can’t find Assay Genie on your company/university vendor system?
Our company can be found under the supplier name “Assay Genie” or “Reagent Genie Ireland Ltd.” Still can’t find us? Check if we are on your vendor system here. If not, we would be happy to fill out a new supplier form to be registered as a vendor. Alternatively, orders can be placed through your local distributor.

How do I create an account and sign in?
To create an Assay Genie account, click on ‘Register’ in the top right corner of the home page. On the registration page fill out the registration details. Once complete, click the ‘Create Account’ button. To login, click on ‘Sign in’ in the top right corner of the page (beside ‘Register’). Fill in your email and password and click the ‘Sign in’ button.
How do I view prices in my currency?
To change the currency of product prices click ‘Select Currency’ from the row of options at the top of each web page. Options include Euro (€), Pound (£) and US Dollar ($).
How will I know if my order has been received by Assay Genie?
Once we have received your order a confirmation email will be sent to you. Details such as order number and estimated date of delivery will also be included in this email.
