Are Assay Genie protocols free to access?
Yes. Every protocol and guide in this library is freely available with no login or purchase required. Each links to a full step-by-step method, and many include buffer recipes, troubleshooting tips and downloadable PDFs.
Can I get a protocol specific to my kit?
Yes. Every Assay Genie kit ships with its own datasheet and instruction manual containing the exact, lot-specific protocol for that product. The guides on this page are general reference methods. If you need a manual for a specific catalogue number, contact our technical support team.
Do the protocols include buffer recipes?
Many do. The Western blot and IHC guides include complete recipe tables for lysis, transfer, running, stripping, fixation, antigen-retrieval and blocking buffers. Recipe sections are linked directly from the relevant cards above.
Are the guides available to download as PDFs?
Several guides offer PDF downloads on their own pages — for example the IHC guide and the GeniePlex multiplex technical manual. Where a PDF is available you'll find a download link near the top of that guide.
Which protocol should I use to quantify a protein?
For most single proteins, a sandwich ELISA gives the best specificity and sensitivity. To measure many analytes from one small sample, use GeniePlex multiplex. To confirm the presence and molecular weight of a protein, use Western blot, and to detect a protein in intact tissue, use IHC. If you're unsure, our team can recommend the right method.
