Assay Genie Lysis Buffer is a traditional rapid lysis solution designed for tissue and cell samples. Protein samples obtained using this Lysis Buffer are suitable for ELISA applications.
This product can be used on animal or plant cells and tissue samples. Its main components are 50 mM Tris (pH 7.2–7.4), 0.9% NaCl, and 0.1% SDS. When using this lysis buffer, users may choose to add specific inhibitors depending on their experimental needs.
Protein samples prepared with Assay Genie Lysis Buffer can be quantified using the BCA Protein Assay Kit (MAES0177). Due to the high detergent concentration, protein concentration measurements using the Bradford method are not compatible with these samples.
