The ACADL Antibody (CAB1266) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the AcadL protein, this antibody allows for precise detection and analysis in various cell types, making it an essential component in studies related to metabolism, energy regulation, and mitochondrial function.AcadL, also known as acyl-CoA dehydrogenase long chain, plays a crucial role in breaking down long-chain fatty acids for energy production in the mitochondria.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IHC-P, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family, which is a family of mitochondrial flavoenzymes involved in fatty acid and branched chain amino-acid metabolism. This protein is one of the four enzymes that catalyze the initial step of mitochondrial beta-oxidation of straight-chain fatty acid. Defects in this gene are the cause of long-chain acyl-CoA dehydrogenase (LCAD) deficiency, leading to nonketotic hypoglycemia.
