The ACVR1B Antibody (CAB5453) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. The antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly reactive with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. It binds specifically to the ACVR1B protein, allowing for precise detection and analysis in various cell types.ACVR1B, also known as activin receptor-like kinase 4 (ALK4), is involved in various biological processes such as cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

This gene encodes an activin A type IB receptor. Activins are dimeric growth and differentiation factors which belong to the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta) superfamily of structurally related signaling proteins. Activins signal through a heteromeric complex of receptor serine kinases which include at least two type I and two type II receptors. This protein is a type I receptor which is essential for signaling. Mutations in this gene are associated with pituitary tumors. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
