The Cofilin Monoclonal Antibody (CAB2658) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This polyclonal antibody, derived from rabbit immunization, demonstrates high reactivity with cofilin protein in human samples and has been validated for Western blot applications. By specifically binding to cofilin, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis of cofilin expression in a variety of cell types, making it an essential component for studies in cell biology and cancer research.Cofilin is a critical protein involved in the reorganization of actin filaments, playing a crucial role in cell migration, division, and signaling processes.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

The protein encoded by this gene can polymerize and depolymerize F-actin and G-actin in a pH-dependent manner. Increased phosphorylation of this protein by LIM kinase aids in Rho-induced reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton. Cofilin is a widely distributed intracellular actin-modulating protein that binds and depolymerizes filamentous F-actin and inhibits the polymerization of monomeric G-actin in a pH-dependent manner. It is involved in the translocation of actin-cofilin complex from cytoplasm to nucleus.
