The MAG Monoclonal Antibody (CAB9671) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly reactive with human samples and is validated for use in a variety of applications including Western blotting.MAG plays a crucial role in the structure and function of the nervous system, particularly in myelination and axonal growth. Dysregulation of MAG has been implicated in several neurological disorders, making it a valuable target for research in neurology and neurodegenerative diseases.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

The protein encoded by this gene is a type I membrane protein and member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. It is thought to be involved in the process of myelination. It is a lectin that binds to sialylated glycoconjugates and mediates certain myelin-neuron cell-cell interactions. Three alternatively spliced transcripts encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene.
