The NDUFAF1 Monoclonal Antibody (CAB4007) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, demonstrates high specificity and sensitivity towards human samples, making it ideal for Western blot applications. By binding to the NDUFAF1 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in various cell types, facilitating research in fields such as bioenergetics, metabolism, and mitochondrial diseases.NDUFAF1 is a critical component of complex I in the mitochondrial electron transport chain, playing a crucial role in ATP synthesis and cellular respiration.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IF/ICC, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human samples.

This gene encodes a complex I assembly factor protein. Complex I (NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase) catalyzes the transfer of electrons from NADH to ubiquinone (coenzyme Q) in the first step of the mitochondrial respiratory chain, resulting in the translocation of protons across the inner mitochondrial membrane. The encoded protein is required for assembly of complex I, and mutations in this gene are a cause of mitochondrial complex I deficiency. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed for this gene, and a pseudogene of this gene is located on the long arm of chromosome 19.
