The SRSF10 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB6024) is a valuable tool for researchers studying SRSF10, a key protein involved in RNA splicing and gene expression regulation. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for Western blot applications. By targeting the SRSF10 protein, this antibody allows for precise detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an ideal choice for studies in molecular biology and gene expression research.SRSF10, also known as Serine/arginine-rich splicing factor 10, is crucial for proper RNA processing, including alternative splicing, which plays a critical role in shaping the transcriptome and proteome of cells.
Dysregulation of SRSF10 has been implicated in various diseases, such as cancer and neurological disorders, highlighting the importance of further research into its function and mechanisms of action. By investigating the role of SRSF10, researchers can gain valuable insights into gene regulation and potentially identify new therapeutic targets for diseases associated with aberrant RNA splicing.

This gene product is a member of the serine-arginine (SR) family of proteins, which are involved in constitutive and regulated RNA splicing. Members of this family are characterized by N-terminal RNP1 and RNP2 motifs, which are required for binding to RNA, and multiple C-terminal SR/RS repeats, which are important in mediating association with other cellular proteins. This protein interacts with the oncoprotein TLS, and abrogates the influence of TLS on adenovirus E1A pre-mRNA splicing. This gene has pseudogenes on chromosomes 4, 9, 14, 18, and 20. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
