von Willebrand factor (VWF) Monoclonal Antibody (CAB21054)
The von Willebrand factor (VWF) Monoclonal Antibody (CAB21054) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This polyclonal antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific and reactive with human samples, making it ideal for various research applications.Von Willebrand Factor is essential for the normal functioning of the hemostatic system, playing a crucial role in the formation of blood clots and preventing excessive bleeding. Dysregulation of VWF has been implicated in various bleeding disorders, making it a target of interest for researchers in the fields of hematology and vascular biology.
This antibody is validated for use in IHC-P, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

Recombinant protein (or fragment). This information is considered to be commercially sensitive.
This gene encodes a glycoprotein involved in hemostasis. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed following assembly into large multimeric complexes. These complexes function in the adhesion of platelets to sites of vascular injury and the transport of various proteins in the blood. Mutations in this gene result in von Willebrand disease, an inherited bleeding disorder. An unprocessed pseudogene has been found on chromosome 22.
