The AP2M1 Monoclonal Antibody (CAB11070) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and reactivity towards human samples, making it an excellent choice for Western blot applications.AP2M1 plays a crucial role in the process of endocytosis, where it facilitates the internalization of membrane proteins and their sorting to various cellular compartments. Dysregulation of AP2M1 expression or function has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, making it a promising target for therapeutic intervention.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene encodes a subunit of the heterotetrameric coat assembly protein complex 2 (AP2), which belongs to the adaptor complexes medium subunits family. The encoded protein is required for the activity of a vacuolar ATPase, which is responsible for proton pumping occurring in the acidification of endosomes and lysosomes. The encoded protein may also play an important role in regulating the intracellular trafficking and function of CTLA-4 protein. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
