This kit is comprised by HRP conjugate, other reagents, ELISA Microtiter plate pre-coated with theBrucellosis (BC) antigen. Apply the principle of enzyme-linked immunoassay (ELISA) to detect BCantibody in serum of cattle, sheep, swine and goat. During the experiment, add control, samples andHRP Conjugate into the ELISA Microtiter plate. BC antibodies will compete with HRP Conjugate tobind with the antigen pre-coated on the ELISA Microtiter plate. The unbound HRP conjugate will beremoved by washing, and substrate reagent is added for color development. There is a negativecorrelation between the OD value of samples and the concentration of BC-Ab. Measure the absorbancevalue of each well by using a microplate reader with 450 nm (630 nm) wavelength, then we can judgewhether BC antibody exist in the sample.
