The CACNB1 Antibody (CAB7649) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the CACNB1 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it perfect for investigations in the fields of neuroscience and cardiovascular research.CACNB1, also known as calcium channel subunit beta-1, plays a crucial role in regulating calcium influx into cells, which is essential for processes such as muscle contraction and neurotransmitter release.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the calcium channel beta subunit family. It plays an important role in the calcium channel by modulating G protein inhibition, increasing peak calcium current, controlling the alpha-1 subunit membrane targeting and shifting the voltage dependence of activation and inactivation. Alternative splicing occurs at this locus and three transcript variants encoding three distinct isoforms have been identified.
