The Caspase-7 Antibody (CAB1524) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. Caspase-7, a critical enzyme in the caspase family, plays a key role in the execution phase of apoptosis by cleaving specific substrates. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity for detecting Caspase-7 in human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications.Caspase-7 is involved in various physiological processes, including tissue development, immune response, and regulation of cell death. Dysregulation of caspase-7 activity has been implicated in various diseases, such as cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and autoimmune conditions.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IHC-P, IF/ICC, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene encodes a member of the cysteine-aspartic acid protease (caspase) family. Sequential activation of caspases plays a central role in the execution-phase of cell apoptosis. Caspases exist as inactive proenzymes which undergo proteolytic processing at conserved aspartic residues to produce two subunits, large and small, that dimerize to form the active enzyme. The precursor of the encoded protein is cleaved by caspase 3 and 10, is activated upon cell death stimuli and induces apoptosis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene.
