The CNTN4 Antibody (CAB10339) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific and reactive with human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications.Contactin-4 is known to be involved in neuronal cell adhesion, axon guidance, and synapse formation, making it a key player in neurodevelopmental processes. Research suggests that dysregulation of Contactin-4 may be implicated in neurological disorders such as autism spectrum disorders and schizophrenia.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human samples.

This gene encodes a member of the contactin family of immunoglobulins. Contactins are axon-associated cell adhesion molecules that function in neuronal network formation and plasticity. The encoded protein is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored neuronal membrane protein that may play a role in the formation of axon connections in the developing nervous system. Deletion or mutation of this gene may play a role in 3p deletion syndrome and autism spectrum disorders. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
