The CXCR1 Antibody (CAB16386) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, has high reactivity with human samples and is validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to the CXCR1 protein, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of CXCR1 in various cell types, making it ideal for studies in immunology and inflammation research.CXCR1, a key receptor for interleukin-8 (IL-8), plays a crucial role in recruiting neutrophils to sites of inflammation. Dysregulation of CXCR1 signaling has been implicated in various disease states, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory conditions.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IHC-P, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the G-protein-coupled receptor family. This protein is a receptor for interleukin 8 (IL8). It binds to IL8 with high affinity, and transduces the signal through a G-protein activated second messenger system. Knockout studies in mice suggested that this protein inhibits embryonic oligodendrocyte precursor migration in developing spinal cord. This gene, IL8RB, a gene encoding another high affinity IL8 receptor, as well as IL8RBP, a pseudogene of IL8RB, form a gene cluster in a region mapped to chromosome 2q33-q36.
