The DICER1 Antibody (CAB15799) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, generated in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding specifically to the Dicer1 protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an essential component for studies in molecular biology and gene regulation.Dicer1 plays a central role in the RNA interference pathway, functioning to cleave double-stranded RNA into small interfering RNA molecules that regulate gene expression.
This antibody is validated for use in IF/ICC, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human samples.

This gene encodes a protein possessing an RNA helicase motif containing a DEXH box in its amino terminus and an RNA motif in the carboxy terminus. The encoded protein functions as a ribonuclease and is required by the RNA interference and small temporal RNA (stRNA) pathways to produce the active small RNA component that represses gene expression. This protein also acts as a strong antiviral agent with activity against RNA viruses, including the Zika and SARS-CoV-2 viruses. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
