The DRD1 Antibody (CAB2893) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced through immunization of rabbits, shows high specificity and reactivity with human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications.DRD1, also known as the D1 receptor, is involved in mediating the effects of dopamine in the brain and is associated with various neurological disorders, including schizophrenia and Parkinson's disease. By targeting the DRD1 protein, researchers can gain valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying these conditions and potentially identify new therapeutic targets.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Rat samples.

This gene encodes the D1 subtype of the dopamine receptor. The D1 subtype is the most abundant dopamine receptor in the central nervous system. This G-protein coupled receptor stimulates adenylyl cyclase and activates cyclic AMP-dependent protein kinases. D1 receptors regulate neuronal growth and development, mediate some behavioral responses, and modulate dopamine receptor D2-mediated events. Alternate transcription initiation sites result in two transcript variants of this gene.
