The EIF2B3 Antibody (CAB10262) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.EIF2B3 is a subunit of the eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2B (eIF2B) complex, which plays a critical role in the control of protein synthesis in response to cellular stress. Dysregulation of EIF2B3 has been implicated in a variety of diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IF/ICC, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

The protein encoded by this gene is one of the subunits of initiation factor eIF2B, which catalyzes the exchange of eukaryotic initiation factor 2-bound GDP for GTP. It has also been found to function as a cofactor of hepatitis C virus internal ribosome entry site-mediated translation. Mutations in this gene have been associated with leukodystrophy with vanishing white matter. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
