The FBXL2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB10296) is a crucial tool for researchers studying FBXL2, a protein involved in the regulation of cell cycle progression, apoptosis, and metabolism. This antibody, produced in rabbits, provides high specificity and sensitivity when detecting FBXL2 in human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications.FBXL2 is a member of the F-box protein family, known for its role in targeting proteins for degradation via the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway. Studies have shown that FBXL2 plays a role in various cellular processes, including the control of protein stability and cellular metabolism.
Understanding the function of FBXL2 is essential for unraveling its potential implications in diseases such as cancer, metabolic disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases.By using the FBXL2 Polyclonal Antibody, researchers can explore the mechanisms underlying FBXL2 regulation and its impact on cellular processes. This antibody enables the visualization and analysis of FBXL2 expression in different cell types, paving the way for further insights into its biological functions and its potential as a therapeutic target in various disease contexts.

This gene encodes a member of the F-box protein family which is characterized by an approximately 40 amino acid motif, the F-box. The F-box proteins constitute one of the four subunits of ubiquitin protein ligase complex called SCFs (SKP1-cullin-F-box), which function in phosphorylation-dependent ubiquitination. The F-box proteins are divided into 3 classes: Fbws containing WD-40 domains, Fbls containing leucine-rich repeats, and Fbxs containing either different protein-protein interaction modules or no recognizable motifs. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the Fbls class and, in addition to an F-box, contains 12 tandem leucine-rich repeats. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
