The FKBP2 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB21404) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high specificity and reactivity towards human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications.FKBP2 is known to interact with immunosuppressant drugs like FK506 and rapamycin, highlighting its role in immune regulation. Furthermore, FKBP2 has been implicated in the pathogenesis of certain diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the immunophilin protein family, which play a role in immunoregulation and basic cellular processes involving protein folding and trafficking. This encoded protein is a cis-trans prolyl isomerase that binds the immunosuppressants FK506 and rapamycin. It is thought to function as an ER chaperone and may also act as a component of membrane cytoskeletal scaffolds. Multiple alternatively spliced variants, encoding the same protein, have been identified.
