The FSHB Antibody (CAB14532) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By targeting the FSHB protein, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of FSHB expression in various cell types, making it ideal for studies in reproductive biology and endocrinology.FSHB, also known as follicle-stimulating hormone subunit beta, is a key component of the follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) complex, which is involved in the maturation of ovarian follicles and the production of sperm in males.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Mouse, Rat samples.

The pituitary glycoprotein hormone family includes follicle-stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone, chorionic gonadotropin, and thyroid-stimulating hormone. All of these glycoproteins consist of an identical alpha subunit and a hormone-specific beta subunit. This gene encodes the beta subunit of follicle-stimulating hormone. In conjunction with luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone induces egg and sperm production. Alternative splicing results in two transcript variants encoding the same protein.
