The FUT2 Antibody (CAB5721) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. The antibody is raised in rabbits and has high reactivity with human samples, making it suitable for various research applications.FUT2 plays a crucial role in the determination of blood group phenotypes and is associated with susceptibility to various infectious diseases. The antibody binds to the FUT2 protein, allowing for the detection and analysis of its expression in different cell types.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human samples.

This gene is one of two encoding the galactoside 2-L-fucosyltransferase enzyme. The encoded protein is important for the final step in the soluble ABO blood group antigen synthesis pathway. It is also involved in cell-cell interaction, cell surface expression, and cell proliferation. Mutations in this gene are a cause of the H-Bombay blood group where red blood cells lack the H antigen.
