The HOXA9 Antibody (CAB1908) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the HOXA9 protein, this antibody enables researchers to detect and analyze HOXA9 expression in a variety of cell types.HOXA9 is a member of the HOX gene family, which are key regulators of embryonic development and cell differentiation. Aberrant expression of HOXA9 has been linked to various diseases, including leukemia and other cancers, making it a key target for research in oncology and stem cell biology.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

In vertebrates, the genes encoding the class of transcription factors called homeobox genes are found in clusters named A, B, C, and D on four separate chromosomes. Expression of these proteins is spatially and temporally regulated during embryonic development. This gene is part of the A cluster on chromosome 7 and encodes a DNA-binding transcription factor which may regulate gene expression, morphogenesis, and differentiation. This gene is highly similar to the abdominal-B (Abd-B) gene of Drosophila. A specific translocation event which causes a fusion between this gene and the NUP98 gene has been associated with myeloid leukemogenesis. Read-through transcription exists between this gene and the upstream homeobox A10 (HOXA10) gene.
