The ICMT Antibody (CAB10293) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, generated in rabbits, specifically binds to the ICMT protein, allowing for accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types.ICMT, or isoprenylcysteine carboxyl methyltransferase, is an essential enzyme involved in the post-translational modification of certain proteins, particularly those involved in signal transduction pathways. By targeting ICMT with this antibody, researchers can gain insights into its role in cellular processes and its potential as a therapeutic target for diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular disorders.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IHC-P, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene encodes the third of three enzymes that posttranslationally modify isoprenylated C-terminal cysteine residues in certain proteins and target those proteins to the cell membrane. This enzyme localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum. Alternative splicing may result in other transcript variants, but the biological validity of those transcripts has not been determined.
