The IGFBP1 Antibody (CAB2981) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the IGFBP1 protein, this antibody allows for accurate detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it an essential tool for investigations in the fields of endocrinology and metabolism.IGFBP1 is known to play a crucial role in mediating the actions of insulin-like growth factors, which are implicated in various physiological processes such as growth, development, and metabolism.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene is a member of the insulin-like growth factor binding protein (IGFBP) family and encodes a protein with an IGFBP N-terminal domain and a thyroglobulin type-I domain. The encoded protein, mainly expressed in the liver, circulates in the plasma and binds both insulin-like growth factors (IGFs) I and II, prolonging their half-lives and altering their interaction with cell surface receptors. This protein is important in cell migration and metabolism. Low levels of this protein may be associated with impaired glucose tolerance, vascular disease and hypertension in human patients.
