The MKP1 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB24667) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. MKP1 is a key regulator of cellular signaling pathways involved in cell growth, proliferation, and differentiation. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly specific to human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.By binding to the MKP1 protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis of MKP1 expression in various cell types. Its high reactivity and specificity make it an ideal choice for studies in cell signaling, cancer biology, and drug development.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

The protein encoded by this gene is a phosphatase with dual specificity for tyrosine and threonine. The encoded protein can dephosphorylate MAP kinase MAPK1/ERK2, which results in its involvement in several cellular processes. This protein appears to play an important role in the human cellular response to environmental stress as well as in the negative regulation of cellular proliferation. Finally, the encoded protein can make some solid tumors resistant to both chemotherapy and radiotherapy, making it a target for cancer therapy.
