The MYL12A Antibody (CAB9176) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, specifically targets the MYL12A protein and is highly reactive with human samples. Validated for use in Western blot applications, the MYL12A Polyclonal Antibody allows for the detection and analysis of MYL12A in various cell types.MYL12A, also known as myosin light chain 12A, plays a crucial role in the regulation of smooth muscle and non-muscle cell contractility. Dysregulation of MYL12A has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and neurological conditions.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human samples.

This gene encodes a nonsarcomeric myosin regulatory light chain. This protein is activated by phosphorylation and regulates smooth muscle and non-muscle cell contraction. This protein may also be involved in DNA damage repair by sequestering the transcriptional regulator apoptosis-antagonizing transcription factor (AATF)/Che-1 which functions as a repressor of p53-driven apoptosis. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. A pseudogene of this gene is found on chromosome 8.
