The NCBP2 Antibody (CAB7293) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been specifically validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the NCBP2 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis in various cell types, making it ideal for investigations in molecular biology and cancer research.NCBP2, also known as Nuclear cap-binding protein subunit 2, plays a crucial role in the regulation of gene expression by facilitating the post-transcriptional processing of RNA molecules.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IF/ICC, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

The product of this gene is a component of the nuclear cap-binding protein complex (CBC), which binds to the monomethylated 5' cap of nascent pre-mRNA in the nucleoplasm. The encoded protein has an RNP domain commonly found in RNA binding proteins, and contains the cap-binding activity. The CBC promotes pre-mRNA splicing, 3'-end processing, RNA nuclear export, and nonsense-mediated mRNA decay. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
