The NTF4 Antibody (CAB1081) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody is produced in rabbits and has been validated for use in various applications, including Western blot and immunohistochemistry.Neurotrophin-4 is known for its neurotrophic and neuroprotective properties, making it a key player in neuronal survival, differentiation, and synaptic plasticity. By targeting neurotrophin-4 with this antibody, researchers can study its expression and localization in different cell types and tissues, shedding light on its role in neurodevelopment, neurodegenerative disorders, and neurological diseases.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IHC-P, IF/ICC, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene is a member of a family of neurotrophic factors, neurotrophins, that control survival and differentiation of mammalian neurons. The expression of this gene is ubiquitous and less influenced by environmental signals. While knock-outs of other neurotrophins including nerve growth factor, brain-derived neurotrophic factor, and neurotrophin 3 prove lethal during early postnatal development, NTF5-deficient mice only show minor cellular deficits and develop normally to adulthood.
