The PAI-1/Serpin E1 Monoclonal Antibody (CAB19096) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. PAI1 is a key regulator of the fibrinolytic system and plays a crucial role in controlling blood clot formation and degradation. This antibody, raised in rabbits, is highly specific and reactive with human samples, making it suitable for a wide range of research applications. It has been validated for use in Western blot and immunohistochemistry, allowing for the detection and analysis of PAI1 expression in various cell types and tissues.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Monkey samples.

This gene encodes a member of the serine proteinase inhibitor (serpin) superfamily. This member is the principal inhibitor of tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) and urokinase (uPA), and hence is an inhibitor of fibrinolysis. The protein also functions as a component of innate antiviral immunity. Defects in this gene are the cause of plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 deficiency (PAI-1 deficiency), and high concentrations of the gene product are associated with thrombophilia.
