The PDE1B Antibody (CAB2102) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific for detecting PDE1B in human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.PDE1B plays a vital role in various physiological processes, including regulation of cardiovascular function, smooth muscle contraction, and neuronal signaling. Dysregulation of PDE1B has been implicated in diseases such as heart failure, hypertension, and neurological disorders.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IHC-P, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase (PDE) family, and PDE1 subfamily. Members of the PDE1 family are calmodulin-dependent PDEs that are stimulated by a calcium-calmodulin complex. This PDE has dual-specificity for the second messengers, cAMP and cGMP, with a preference for cGMP as a substrate. cAMP and cGMP function as key regulators of many important physiological processes. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene.
