The PGAM2 Antibody (CAB7917) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody is raised in rabbits and has high reactivity with human samples, making it ideal for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the PGAM2 protein, this antibody enables accurate detection and analysis of PGAM2 levels in various cell types.PGAM2 is essential for the conversion of 3-phosphoglycerate to 2-phosphoglycerate in the glycolytic pathway, making it a crucial enzyme in cellular energy metabolism. Dysregulation of PGAM2 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders, making it an important target for investigation in research settings.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA, IF-P applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

Phosphoglycerate mutase (PGAM) catalyzes the reversible reaction of 3-phosphoglycerate (3-PGA) to 2-phosphoglycerate (2-PGA) in the glycolytic pathway. The PGAM is a dimeric enzyme containing, in different tissues, different proportions of a slow-migrating muscle (MM) isozyme, a fast-migrating brain (BB) isozyme, and a hybrid form (MB). This gene encodes muscle-specific PGAM subunit. Mutations in this gene cause muscle phosphoglycerate mutase eficiency, also known as glycogen storage disease X.
