The HDAC3 Antibody (CAB12542) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. By binding specifically to the HDAC3 protein, this antibody enables precise detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it a valuable asset for studies in epigenetics, cancer research, and drug development.HDAC3, a member of the histone deacetylase family, plays a crucial role in the modification of chromatin structure and gene transcription. Dysregulation of HDAC3 activity has been implicated in a range of diseases, including cancer, neurological disorders, and metabolic syndromes.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IHC-P, IF/ICC, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

Histones play a critical role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression, and developmental events. Histone acetylation/deacetylation alters chromosome structure and affects transcription factor access to DNA. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the histone deacetylase/acuc/apha family. It has histone deacetylase activity and represses transcription when tethered to a promoter. It may participate in the regulation of transcription through its binding with the zinc-finger transcription factor YY1. This protein can also down-regulate p53 function and thus modulate cell growth and apoptosis. This gene is regarded as a potential tumor suppressor gene.
