The VBP1 Antibody (CAB8990) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to Prefoldin Subunit 3, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of the protein in a variety of cell types, making it ideal for investigations in cell biology and protein folding research.Prefoldin Subunit 3 is a key player in ensuring proper protein folding and preventing the aggregation of misfolded proteins, which are associated with numerous diseases including neurodegenerative disorders.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

The protein encoded by this gene interacts with the Von Hippel-Lindau protein to form an intracellular complex. The encoded protein functions as a chaperone protein, and may play a role in the transport of the Von Hippel-Lindau protein from the perinuclear granules to the nucleus or cytoplasm. Alternative splicing and the use of alternate transcription start sites results in multiple transcript variants encoding different protein isoforms.
